About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at EVolve. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software products meet required quality standards
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Conduct automated and manual testing to ensure software products are fit for purpose
- Provide reporting on test results and defects
- Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Contribute to test planning, strategy, and approximation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive or retail sector
- Demonstrated experience testing applications in accordance with required functionality and non-functional quality attributes
- Certification in ISEB or ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca, or similar is a plus
- Knowledge of configuration efforts and development
- In-depth understanding of testing concepts, including functional, usability, and performance testing
- Understanding of basic waterfall and iterative project management concepts
- Ability to conduct manual and automated testing
- Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills, with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
