About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a School Immunisation Nurse. As a key member of our vaccination team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality immunisation services to school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver immunisation services to school-aged children in accordance with national guidelines and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Programme Managers, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads to ensure the smooth delivery of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
  • Attend sites across different locations as required, providing evidence-based and competent care to patients.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and the performance and development of staff, ensuring all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team meetings, actively and constructively sharing ideas and expertise.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest immunisation guidelines and protocols.
  • Experience working within PGD frameworks and a strong understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, parents, and colleagues.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
