Cost Management Support Specialist

Overview of the Position
Balfour Beatty is seeking a Site Financial Administration Supervisor to enhance our Enabling Functions team.
Important Note: This position is entirely office-based, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid model after an initial period.
In this role, you will deliver professional financial support services to project teams, ensuring efficient operational execution and precise project cost management. Additionally, you will address invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments to the supply chain in accordance with the prompt payment code.
Key Responsibilities
As a Site Financial Administration Supervisor , your duties will include:
Maintaining accurate project expenditure records, resulting in the timely generation of monthly financial reports. Processing payroll transactions and assisting in resolving payroll-related inquiries. Managing material receipts and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processing. Logging and addressing purchase order discrepancies. Overseeing the hiring and off-hiring of equipment within the system. Reviewing unreceipted plant orders and collaborating with site teams. Ensuring timely posting of all transactions. Conducting regular reconciliations of plant data to ensure accuracy against supplier information. Managing and documenting invoice inquiries. Ensuring that site support processes are consistently applied across all projects in alignment with company policies.Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals at various levels within Balfour Beatty and externally, while adhering to site support procedures. A sense of responsibility in managing receipting, invoice processing, payroll, and project costing. Previous experience with Oracle or similar ERP cost management systems, along with familiarity with construction or engineering working agreements, is advantageous.Benefits of Working with Us
