Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Goods In Goods Out Operative to join our client's team in a manufacturing environment. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the factory by unloading vehicles, putting stock into the correct locations, and updating in-house computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload vehicles of incoming stock and put stock into correct locations
- Feed machines with materials to be cut and load vehicles with orders for delivery
- Pack completed orders onto pallets and complete relevant paperwork/delivery notes
- Update in-house computer systems and deal with carrier bookings and portals
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
- Forklift Licence (or have held one previously)
- Computer literate
- Goods in/goods out experience
- Ability to build strong relationships (internal/external)
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks in order to work effectively and meet deadlines
- Calm under pressure
- Flexible nature
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be working in a busy manufacturing environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. The role involves working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the factory.
