At OCS Group, we are seeking a Security Break Officer who will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of designated facilities and personnel. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling client site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to employees and visitors, delivering a courteous and professional service.
- Monitor fire, security, and building systems to ensure compliance and safety.
- Manage service area barriers and oversee traffic control.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitate clear communication with Reception and the Gatehouse regarding all pertinent information.
- Adhere to the incident escalation process, maintaining accurate logs in the SCR.
- Submit relevant documentation and reports to management accurately.
- Monitor operational staff to ensure compliance with duties as outlined in the Assignment instructions and SOPs, escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct regular equipment serviceability checks and maintain detailed records.
- Restrict access to the Security Control Room, ensuring visitor admission aligns with access protocols.
- Implement emergency procedures in line with the Incident and Emergency Plan.
- Handle all inquiries and communications with professionalism, prioritizing customer interests.
- Collaborate closely with team members, including Reception, the Gatehouse, and the Security Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in the Security Industry is advantageous.
- SIA license is mandatory.
- First aid certification is required.
- Ideally, two years of experience in the security sector.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity.
