Job Title: Store Operations Manager

Reports to: Area Sales Director

Hours of Work: 40+ Hours per week / Store Schedule / 5 out of 7 days

Job Purpose: To support a team of Sales Representatives to continually develop, coordinate, and improve the Sales Performance within their base store. Proven Sales performance and sales management of their team, with a good record of target achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within agreed levels for the store, as well as personal sales targets.
  • Deliver a high standard of administration to reduce errors, achieve good store order accuracy, and meet requirements from other departments.
  • Manage the sales process, observing and supporting team members, managing the shop floor effectively, and the quote pipeline to maximize sales results.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong customer service focus for after-sales service and support the customer journey to encourage repeat purchases.
  • Identify and feedback to Area Sales Director any business opportunities in the local marketplace.
  • Meet personal sales levels as agreed with Area Sales Director.
  • Track KPIs for the team and use them for Monthly and Quarterly staff reviews as part of the performance management process.
  • Maintain a transparent management style with clear, open, and honest communication with the team and Area Sales Director.
  • Conduct regular documented coaching and training with all Sales Representatives.
  • Weekend and occasional evening trading is essential; flexible hours and weekend work are required.
