Position: Senior Project Coordinator - Process Automation

Focus Areas: DCS & Safety Systems

Compensation: £60k + Car Allowance

Benefits: 12.5% Pension, Healthcare, Medical Insurance

Holidays: 25 Days + Bank Holidays, Hybrid Working

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe execution of industrial automation projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project goals, while adhering to timelines and budget constraints to maximize quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with senior management and clients to ascertain project requirements, timelines, and costs, while maintaining clear communication with team members.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate delays and budget overruns.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to guide clients, staff, and project teams, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Assign project tasks based on the skills, experience, and strengths of team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Enhance leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to consult effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • Manage daily project operations efficiently.
  • Work closely with Designers, Developers, Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Procurement, and other stakeholders for planning and documentation.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Expertise in inventory management and process enhancement.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other relevant applications like Primavera P6 and FastDraft.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and make critical decisions to achieve project objectives.
  • Proficiency in NEC 4, particularly under Options A, C, and E - ESSENTIAL.
  • Solid understanding of PMBOK or PRINCE 2 methodologies - ESSENTIAL.
  • Thorough knowledge of CDM15 roles for Principal Contractor and Principal Designer.
  • Understanding of NGT Policies, Procedures, and Specifications, including Business Procedures, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the project lifecycle, with experience in initiating, planning, delegating, managing, and mitigating risks.
