About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to join our team at Computacenter. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will be responsible for delivering technical consultancy to our customers, leading teams in delivery engagements, and providing pre-sales qualification, bid response, and design to consultancy engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement complex multi-technology solutions for customers, consistently delivering high-quality results.
  2. Define solutions, technologies, and standards to blueprint best practice, ensuring consistency and accuracy within a solution.
  3. Lead a team defining, designing, and implementing solutions for customers, hosting customer meetings to present solutions from a technical and implementation approach.
  4. Highlight technical risks that may impact the success of the solution for our client, providing thought leadership for peers, the practice, internal clients, our customers, and partners.
  5. Influence customers, suppliers, and partners at account level, understanding the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/organisational requirements.
  6. Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives, analysing requirements and advising on scope and options for continuous operational improvement.
  7. Demonstrate creativity, innovation, and ethical thinking in applying solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  1. Experience of working in a team of DevOps or DevSecOps practitioners, with a strong understanding of DevOps tooling, including Automation, Orchestration, CI/CD, Testing, and Container native technologies.
  2. DevOps Tooling experience, including CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar, and container native technologies like Openshift and Kubernetes.
  3. Agile Delivery experience, including Kanban, SCRUM, XP, Lean, and SAFe, as well as DevOps Management experience, including JIRA and Confluence.
  4. Awareness of CI/CD tooling, including Jenkins, GitLab, or similar, and knowledge of Hashicorp Terraform and Hashicorp Vault.
  5. Awareness of SAST Security Testing, including GitLab, Checkmarx, and Veracode, as well as DAST Security Testing, including GitLab and Veracode.
  6. Awareness of SCA/IAST Security Testing, including Checkmarx, GitLab, and Veracode, and Vulnerability Management, including PA Prisma.
  7. Awareness of QA Testing, including Selenium, and certifications in GitLab, Terraform, and Vault would be preferable.
