DevOps Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to join our team at Computacenter. As a key member of our Pre-Sales team, you will be responsible for delivering technical consultancy to our customers, leading teams in delivery engagements, and providing pre-sales qualification, bid response, and design to consultancy engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex multi-technology solutions for customers, consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Define solutions, technologies, and standards to blueprint best practice, ensuring consistency and accuracy within a solution.
- Lead a team defining, designing, and implementing solutions for customers, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders with diverse objectives.
- Host customer meetings to present solutions from a technical and implementation approach, highlighting technical risks that may impact the success of the solution.
- Provide thought leadership for peers, the practice, internal clients, our customers, and partners, influencing customers, suppliers, and partners at account level.
- Analyse requirements and advise on scope and options for continuous operational improvement, taking all requirements into account when making proposals.
- Demonstrate creativity, innovation, and ethical thinking in applying solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and partners.
- Experience of working in a team of DevOps or DevSecOps practitioners, with a strong understanding of Agile Delivery methodologies.
- DevOps Tooling experience, including Automation, Orchestration, CI/CD, Testing, and Container native technologies.
- Experience of working with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar, and an understanding of DevOps Management.
- Awareness of SAST Security Testing, DAST Security Testing, SCA / IAST Security Testing, and Vulnerability Management.
- Certifications in GitLab, Terraform, and Vault would be preferable.
