Job Title: SEND Teacher

Location: Sale

Cover People is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our team of professionals working within our SEN School and Primary Schools. As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting the academic and social development of students with Special Education Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the academic and social development of students with SEND.
  • Plan and deliver tailored learning, adapting resources to meet the needs of students and delivering effective teaching strategies.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment, with a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support student progress.

Requirements:

  • QTS or ECT qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Special Education and the relevant curriculum.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation, and confidence working with students with SEND.
  • Be a passionate and empathetic educator.
  • Team Teach Training.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the update register.
