Job Title: SEN Teacher

Cover People is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to work within our SEN School and Primary Schools. As a SEND Teacher, you will promote the academic and social development of SEND children, plan and deliver tailored learning, and provide a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the academic and social development of SEND children.
  • Plan and deliver tailored learning, adapting resources to the needs of the students and deliver effective teaching strategies.
  • Provide a safe environment and have extensive knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support pupil progress.

Requirements:

  • QTS or ECT.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in Special Education and knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation, and confidence working with SEND children.
  • Be a passionate and empathetic educator.
  • Team Teach Training
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on update register
