About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) team as an Enhanced Recovery Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a committed team who strive to provide holistic care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Enhanced Recovery pathways in the hospital, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Actively promote Enhanced Recovery Programmes and their benefits, providing training and education to staff and patients.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to provide training and support in Enhanced Recovery programmes.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Proven track record of supervising and teaching healthcare practitioners.
  • Experience in a surgical area at Band 5 or equivalent.
Desirable Criteria
  • Recognised post-registration teaching qualification.
  • Audit and research experience within the relevant area.
  • Experience in assisting and implementing guidelines, protocols, and pathways.
