Finance Systems Analyst Job Description

Robert Walters is seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Analyst to play a key role in managing all aspects of SAP S/4 HANA Core finance modules and processes. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in a collaborative global team environment, developing close relationships with various departments such as Global Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the firm's SAP S/4 HANA Core finance modules and processes
  • Deliver SAP Finance projects globally, including the rollout of new legal entities or setting up new ones due to acquisitions
  • Implement treasury management systems and drive process improvements
  • Lead complex business requirement discussions with stakeholders across various teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects that cut across different process areas

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP finance modules; S/4 Hana experience is required
  • Knowledge of SAP Upgrades would be a significant advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Expert understanding of the integration between SAP S/4 HANA and other applications such as content management systems, bank interfaces etc.
  • Ability to write functional specifications

Location: Central London with exposure primarily across UK and EMEA, but does report into the Finance Systems Manager based in the USA. Travel may be required within Europe dependant upon acquisition and integration activity but this is not expected to be more than 2-3 times per year.
