Shape the Future of Infrastructure with Babcock

Babcock International Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior BIM & Digital Engineer to join our team at Devonport. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the success of Major Infrastructure Projects (MIP) by leading information management, BIM implementation, and digital delivery strategies.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive BIM strategies for both Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Safety facilities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to core engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment that embraces digital workflows.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, promoting consistent BIM implementation across all stages of the design and construction lifecycle.

Your Expertise:

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in the design and construction industry, coupled with a deep understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM). Your expertise should encompass:

  • Design and Construction experience within civil, structural, architectural, or MEP fields.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO standards relevant to BIM implementation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying BIM throughout the entire design and construction lifecycle.

Your Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A HNC, degree, or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Professional chartership with a recognized industry institute or a clear path to achieving it.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the successful candidate to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
