About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Consultant to join our team of experts in the crude oil and refined products market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the direction and focus of our analysis and research, identifying new areas of analysis and associated business opportunities, and developing data sets and models to support our forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our analysis and research, including identifying new areas of analysis and associated business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain data sets and models to support our forecasting of supply, demand, capacity, imports and exports, price, production costs, and margin for crude and refined products
  • Contribute to the development and commercialisation of our existing products and pursue the development and commercialisation of new products
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to ensure the accuracy and quality of our analysis and research
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the oil industry and markets, particularly in the downstream sector
  • Strong leadership potential and ability to drive the direction and focus of our analysis and research
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex data sets and models
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
