Position Overview

Redstone Search Group is currently engaged with a prominent mining organization to support the establishment of a London-based mine-to-market division. We are seeking a Mining Sales and Marketing Analyst to join their sales and marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, monitor, evaluate, and report on key industry developments and critical economic indicators, both macroeconomic and microeconomic, that impact the business across the entire value chain.
  • Provide market-oriented strategies, competitive positioning insights, and alternative partnership opportunities to maximize returns.
  • Develop a framework to track and report on vital economic indicators, assessing their business implications through SWOT analysis.
  • Examine market trends and product applications, with a particular focus on how environmental shifts affect demand.
  • Work collaboratively with sales and market intelligence teams to identify key customers within strategic end-use sectors, including competitors' clientele, to enhance competitive analysis and improve market forecasting.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a relevant mining marketing or commercial analyst position.
  • Prior experience in the production of industrial minerals.
  • Proficient in analyzing detailed market indicators, supply chain metrics, and financial data, with a strong ability to communicate findings in a clear, engaging, and direct manner.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • This position is based in London.
