Warehouse Operative Role

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Undisclosed. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Goods Receipt:
    • Direct inbound couriers safely across the yard to the appropriate unloading bay.
    • Unload delivery vehicles and review delivery paperwork to ensure delivery guidelines are met.
    • Transfer MRO returns to the MRO drop-off zone.
    • Receive deliveries against POs in SAP.
    • Generate GRNs and label materials.
    • Transfer materials to quality inspection or put-away areas.
    • Scan delivery paperwork.
  • Put Away of Materials:
    • Put away goods into appropriate storage areas (VLM, VNA, Exterior Stores).
  • Picking:
    • Pick from storage locations into appropriate order containers (kit box, bag, tote box).
    • Label decanted materials where required.
    • Transfer picked orders to tug marshalling areas, awaiting quality inspection or packing areas.
  • Deliver to Production Zones:
    • Collect and drop off trolleys between warehouse and production zones.
    • Scan transfer orders to production zones.
    • Manually transfer non-production items between external storage and production zones.
  • Prepare for Despatch:
    • Package and label orders to packaging specifications.
    • Generate and sign dangerous goods notes.
    • Transfer packed orders to shipping areas.
  • Despatch:
    • Ensure outbound couriers are directed safely across the yard to the appropriate loading bay.
    • Hand over correct deliveries to outbound couriers and retrieve signed collection notes.
    • Hand over collection notes to shipping and update delivery boards.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Complete cycle counts.
    • Complete stock movement tasks between storage types.
  • Warehouse Operations Management:
    • Uphold 6S and warehouse and yard standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift and move heavy objects, work at heights, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
