The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our Complex Care Division in East Sussex. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a small caseload of complex care clients, building strong relationships with them and their families, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service from a well-trained team of support workers and Registered nurses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership
    • Develop and implement person-centered care plans and guidance
    • Conduct staff supervision, audits, and case management duties
  • Operational Management
    • Manage a small caseload of complex care clients
    • Support the induction of new staff
  • Service Delivery
    • Provide clinical care, such as tracheostomy, ventilation, and PEG management, when needed
    • Ensure that clients receive exceptional service from a well-trained team

Requirements

  • You will be a Paediatric and Adult trained Registered Nurse and hold a valid NMC PIN
  • A minimum of three years' post-registration experience
  • Experience in providing community-based care, ideally complex care, such as spinal or brain injuries, PEG, tracheostomy care, and ventilators
  • You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence
