About the Role

Our team is renowned for its exceptional expertise in the industry. As a Regional Small Tools Fitter, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the Region by supporting our depots to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of tools within the GAP fleet.

As part of our high-performing regional team, you will be responsible for traveling across our regional depots to service and maintain a range of small tools including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and a variety of electrical tools including saws, grinders, and drills while accurately updating service records.

Please note that this role will require extensive travel across the region and overnight stays when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification or time-served experience
  • Significant experience in petrol and diesel contractor tools servicing and maintenance
  • Proven ability to test and run electrical tools
  • Current PAT testing certificate
  • A valid driving license is essential
