Job Overview:

N Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Teradata Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex data solutions using Teradata SQL and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data models and database architectures to support business intelligence and data warehousing initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data architects, and ETL developers, to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
  • Perform database performance tuning and optimization tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Participate in the testing and deployment of database changes and new features to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database objects, procedures, and applications to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Teradata SQL, database design principles, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with Teradata utilities, tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Teradata SQL Assistant, BTEQ, FASTLoad).
  • Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
