Our Academics' inclusive learning environment is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for students with special educational needs. We are looking for an Autism Support Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students and is dedicated to delivering high-quality support.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with Autism and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff, therapists, and other support professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs of our students.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working in the Special Needs sector and are eager to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an Autism Support Assistant at Academics, you will have the chance to observe, work alongside, and collaborate with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists, and teachers with SEN specialisms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism, enabling them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with teaching staff and other professionals.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with Autism.
