Senior Site / Setting out Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site / Setting out Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Senior Site / Setting out Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering and technical knowledge to guide the construction to the next stage.

About the Role

The project is a refurbishment of an old school to be converted into luxury accommodation. We require an engineer that can problem-solve and find solutions for unforeseen problems with utility and drainage networks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide engineering and technical knowledge to guide the construction to the next stage.
  2. Work with site plans, drawings, and building information models to resolve technical problems.
  3. Liaise with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 5 years setting out experience in housing, construction, or civil engineering.
  2. A Degree or HNC/D level in a relevant area of Civil Engineering / Construction.
  3. The ability to produce setting out data from a range of formats including AutoCAD.

This is a contract position for an engineer to start in the next 2 weeks and be able to commit to the timeline of approximately 9-12 weeks with the potential to extend or move to another project.
