About the Role

In this rewarding position as an Activities Coordinator at HC-One, kindness is at the forefront of everything we do. Our Residents are individuals with their own stories to tell, and as a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our Residents. This may include developing activity programs, collaborating with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events, and working with the care home team to create a sense of community.

We are seeking an individual with a background in working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with experience in developing activity programs. Your excellent communication skills, positive energy, and ability to work effectively with others will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging activities for Residents, taking into account their interests and needs
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities
  • Work with the care home team to create a sense of community and promote social interaction among Residents
  • Develop and maintain activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of Residents
  • Communicate effectively with Residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of activities and programs
