The Role

We are currently seeking a talented Solicitor/Associate to join our Employment team in Leeds, working at least 2 days per week. As a member of our team, you will be working closely with our Partner Jenny Arrowsmith and her team of specialists in contentious and non-contentious Employment Law. Our clients range from SMEs to large household name companies, and we advise on a wide range of employment law matters, including employee relations, redundancies, disciplinaries, grievances, settlement agreements, TUPE, absence management, discrimination, whistleblowing, and employee status issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory services to clients on employee relation matters
  • Manage own caseloads and maintain exceptional attention to detail and seamless service
  • Operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients
  • Supervise more junior members of the team when necessary
  • Develop strong client and referrer relationships and contribute to the growth and development of the wider team
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer either via traditional SRA route or CILEX
  • Ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice
  • Ability to manage own caseloads and maintain exceptional attention to detail and seamless service
  • Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients
  • Demonstratable technical experience gained within employment law
  • Aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and referrer relationships
