Principal Project Information Systems Management Lead

LutechResources is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Information Systems Management Lead to join our team. As a specialist in Project Information Management, you will be responsible for interpreting business issues and recommending best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the entire life cycle information management process of projects, from initial estimate to completion and handover.
  • Review Invitation to Bid (ITB) from Clients for the Information Management requirements and assess the risks and opportunities in this area.
  • Coordinate with Business and IT stakeholders in the preparation of the Information and Systems Management Execution Plan for proposals and projects.
  • Prepare Information and Systems Management estimates covering hardware, resources, and licenses and control spending within the allocated budgets.
  • Prepare and review proposal write-ups.
  • Detect and manage project scope changes.
  • Coordinate the project-specific infrastructure setup for construction sites, client resident teams, and joint venture partners in cooperation with Project IT.
  • Specify and coordinate the processes and tools for data collection, validation consolidation, and handover to the Client.
  • Act as a single point of contact to project management and the Client for Information Management.
  • Translate project-specific information requirements into efficient system configurations and related user instructions in conjunction with execution tool administrators.
  • Prepare functional specifications and manage the development and implementation of project-specific applications and/or interfaces.
  • Capture lessons learned, best practices, and ensure their embedding in the organization.
  • Initiate and conduct Information Systems Management (ISM) audits and peer reviews.
  • Train and coach personnel for and on assignments.
  • Provide input to audits and peer reviews, undertake other project audits as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or IT or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Management on FEED, EPC, and EPCF projects.
  • Fully familiar with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Fabrication project execution requirements for Information Systems Management.
  • Conversant with data-driven 1D, 2D, and 3D engineering tools from Hexagon and AVEVA and their deployment in an Integrated Environment with engineering workflow.
  • Experience in managing Information and Systems Management and data teams.
