Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at a family-run care company in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also contributing to the overall management of the care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Assist in the management of the care home, including staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with external care professionals, families, and visitors to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Promote a culture of person-centered care, empowering residents to make informed decisions about their care.

Requirements:

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and outcomes.
