Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with budget holders and stakeholders to develop and implement effective financial plans and strategies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for assigned teams, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Financial Control: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective financial controls and processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Year-End Accounts: Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • Accounting Qualification: A recognised accountancy qualification or part qualification (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
  • Business Partnering Skills: Proven business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Commercial Experience: Previous experience within a commercial or property environment (desirable/advantageous).
  • Asset Management: Previous asset management experience (desirable).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
