About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Lincoln. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to a young adult with a diagnosis of EUPD and Sensory Processing Disorder, enabling them to live independently in their own home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support 24 hours a day, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, taking into account the individual's needs and goals.
  • Support the individual in their daily activities, including leisure pursuits and voluntary work.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.

Requirements

  • Experience in social care, ideally in mental health, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days and waking nights, to meet the needs of the individual.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and a minimum of 6 months' employment history in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
