About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Maintenance Solutions Field Service Engineer to join our team at Briggs Equipment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and policies set by customers and Briggs Equipment
  • Perform maintenance and repair of diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment
  • Attend to breakdowns, fault-find, and complete planned preventative maintenance
  • Ensure high-level customer service and address any queries
  • Complete job activities electronically and order required parts
  • Maintain company vehicles to a high standard and ensure correct parts stock
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through high standards of service
Requirements
  • Relevant technical qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload
  • Understanding of customer needs
What We Offer
  • Base salary from £36,209pa based on a 40-hour working week
  • Overtime payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday
  • Vehicle available for private use if desired (tax to be paid)
