About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team at Career Legal Ltd. As a Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and play a key role in the smooth operation of our Shipping practice area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the diaries of our lawyers and ensure that all meetings and appointments are organized efficiently.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and act as a gatekeeper for our lawyers, liaising with clients as needed.
  • Manage inboxes and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Draft, format, and check letters and legal documents.
  • Support with billing and recording fee earner time.
  • Process expenses and assist with business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Open and close matters, including compliance tasks.
  • Work closely with other team members to provide support where necessary.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar Legal Secretary or administrative role within a city law firm, preferably with experience in litigation.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent attention to detail.
