Position: Senior Technical Support Engineer


Lorien is collaborating with a prominent provider of managed hosting, cloud solutions, and transformation services, in search of a Senior Technical Support Engineer to enhance their Support team.


If you possess a robust background in technical support and a keen interest in advanced support roles, this position could be ideal for you.


Role Overview:
This organization is dedicated to empowering clients in the digital landscape. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass server configuration, network assistance, backup management, and monitoring of networks and servers, along with overseeing tasks within their data center.


Engaging with a diverse array of technologies and software, the Senior Technical Support Engineers are tasked with resolving a wide spectrum of technical challenges, ensuring that exceptional service is consistently delivered.


Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience with Windows, VMWare, and Networking.
- Proficient in technical customer support or helpdesk systems.
- Familiarity with Windows Server versions (2008/2012/2016), IIS, and Active Directory.
- Background in Linux distributions such as RedHat, CentOS, Debian, or CloudLinux, as well as virtualization technologies like Citrix, Hyper-V, and KVM.
- Strong grasp of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
- Previous experience with switch configurations and certifications such as RHCT or MCSE/MCSA for Windows Server is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in a data center environment is a plus but not essential.
