As the Soft Fruit Operations Supervisor, you will be instrumental in driving the success of the soft fruit harvest season.Your key responsibilities will encompass effectively managing and training a seasonal workforce of 40-50 individuals, ensuring seamless operations, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding personnel management to efficiently train and organize seasonal staff.
- Implement and refine BRC food processing systems and HACCP principles for fruit and freeze-drying.
- Strategically oversee inventory to fulfill packing needs, including packaging materials, crates, labels, and films.
- Provide precise and timely reports for clients and senior management.
- Supervise packing and dispatch operations to align with customer specifications.
Ideal Candidate
- Practical experience in food processing with knowledge of off and in-line labeling and printing systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with external partners for order fulfillment and logistics.
- Expertise in quality management and sales order processing.
- Familiarity with accounting processes.
Compensation Package
- Competitive salary up to 45,000, depending on experience.
