Job Title: Administration / Invoicing Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced administrator/invoicing clerk to play a key role in the daily running of our charity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creating and sending invoices using accounting software
  2. Resolving issues related to invoice discrepancies
  3. Tracking payments and following up on late payments
  4. Matching payments to invoices
  5. Taking notes at meetings and issuing minutes
  6. Updating policies and internal forms
  7. Entering contact information into software systems
  8. Managing WhatsApp parent/carers group
  9. Raising bills for payment from suppliers and contractors
  10. Contacting suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies
  11. Pulling data from accounting software and collating data for bespoke reports

Requirements:

  1. Skills and qualifications relating to computing, bookkeeping, and accounting software
  2. Experience in using email, MS Excel, MS Word, and resolving discrepancies/issues
  3. Understanding of GDPR requirements and ability to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  4. Empathy for individuals with learning disabilities

Working Arrangements: This is a self-employed position, working 10 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, with a rate of £12.50 per hour.

Location: Home-based, Chichester
