Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering services to our client's production facilities, including commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Maintenance Manager and other teams in the day-to-day maintenance of production plant and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new production equipment and processes.
- Perform preventative, reactive, and scheduled maintenance regimes of plant equipment and electrical maintenance.
- Lead on new electrical engineering projects, including design, fabrication, procurement, installation, commissioning, and debugging.
- Manage minor and medium-sized electrical engineering projects as required and to budget.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of the production plant and equipment.
- Identify electrical improvements with a focus on safety and execute electrical improvement projects.
- Review and implement risk assessments.
- Supervise contractors and other personnel on specific jobs and tasks.
- Report and action on Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality-related faults, failures, and non-conformances.
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum Level 5 NVQ or higher in Electrical Installations and 18th edition qualified.
- Have at least 1-year electrical installations experience.
- Knowledge of Industrial process and controls (415/240V system, low voltage control circuits), PLC systems, and fault finding.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, welding processes (TiG & MiG), and brazing.
- Knowledge of chiller units and Compressed air systems.
- IOSH Confined space trained.
- Forklift MEWP.
