Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead our team in Birmingham. As a Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for managing the on-site team, ensuring the site's success, and making knowledgeable decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop the Team: Manage the on-site team of experts, including Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimator, and administrative staff.
  • Site Management: Entire site management, including Health and Safety, Performance Management, Financials, and Customer Service, and setting targets.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to direct reports and all site employees, to drive performance and achieve or exceed all financial and operational targets.
  • Recruitment: Responsible for recruitment and delivering against key performance indicators with the help of senior management team.
  • Performance Management: Monitor individual productive performance to minimize non-productive time.
  • Customer Service: Deal with any customer issues.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge and experience of the Accident Repair and Bodyshop industry.
  • Management Experience: Previous experience within a management position with the ability to lead and coach the team.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize office administration, control systems, and financial resources.
  • Industry Knowledge: Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design and manufacture, consumer and vehicle legislation, industry, and best practice.
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge and understanding of the provisions of E.P.A. and C.O.S.H.H.
  • Accreditation: Knowledge and understanding of BSI Standards and accreditation.
