About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team at Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd. As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will work closely with senior lawyers on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, representing clients in disputes across different industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to identify relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Draft Legal Documents: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist in Case Preparation: Assist in preparing cases for trial, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing case strategy.
  • Represent Clients: Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Manage Caseload: Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters under supervision.
  • Build Relationships: Build relationships with clients and provide timely updates on case developments.
  • Stay Informed: Stay informed of legal developments and trends in commercial litigation practice.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 0 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
  • Strong Academic Background: Strong academic background and admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Excellent Research Skills: Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated Interest: Demonstrated interest in commercial litigation and a desire to develop expertise in this area.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
