We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to join our client's manufacturing site in Norwich. As a key member of the team, you will provide effective maintenance support to the production operation and collaborate with colleagues to prioritize work in line with production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair plant and equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
- Undertake mechanical and electrical project work, including maintenance and repair activities.
- Execute planned and scheduled maintenance activities, adhering to set schedules and high engineering standards.
- Recognize equipment failure trends and take proactive measures to eliminate or mitigate losses.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain technical support and manage documentation.
- Ensure Risk and COSHH Assessments are current and applicable to performed activities.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an FMCG manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have PPM/TPM experience, proactive and reactive maintenance skills, and the ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic drawings. Recognized engineering qualifications are required.
Shift Details:We have two positions available, each covering different shift systems:
- 12 hours shift:
Week 1 - Days - Monday to Thursday - 4 days only
Week 2 - Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 3 nights only - 8 hours shift:
