Multi-skilled Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to join our client's manufacturing site in Norwich. As a key member of the team, you will provide effective maintenance support to the production operation and collaborate with colleagues to prioritize work in line with production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair plant and equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
  2. Undertake mechanical and electrical project work, including maintenance and repair activities.
  3. Execute planned and scheduled maintenance activities, adhering to set schedules and high engineering standards.
  4. Recognize equipment failure trends and take proactive measures to eliminate or mitigate losses.
  5. Collaborate with engineering colleagues to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
  6. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain technical support and manage documentation.
  7. Ensure Risk and COSHH Assessments are current and applicable to performed activities.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an FMCG manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have PPM/TPM experience, proactive and reactive maintenance skills, and the ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic drawings. Recognized engineering qualifications are required.

Shift Details:

We have two positions available, each covering different shift systems:

  1. 12 hours shift:
    Week 1 - Days - Monday to Thursday - 4 days only
    Week 2 - Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 3 nights only
