About the Role

This is a brand new role, created due to growth within the mental health team as we expand our service to patients. As a Senior Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering immediate and ongoing care for patients referred to the mental health team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the mental health team in delivering high-quality care to patients
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and nursing associates to provide comprehensive care
  • Help to run and promote mental health-focused patient groups
  • Support patients to access care and treatment appropriately within the prison setting
