Retirement Living Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Floating Retirement Living Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our housing management team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive housing management service for our Retirement Living schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as an initial point of contact for customers, providing a professional and supportive approach.
- Assist in the day-to-day delivery of housing management services, including working with tenancy agreements and maintaining records.
- Report repairs and maintenance needs on behalf of customers, following agreed procedures.
- Monitor and deliver service contracts at the scheme, including lifts, heating, fire equipment, and gardening.
- Work in line with health and safety standards, monitoring and reporting any discrepancies.
- Promote and encourage customer involvement, consultation, and communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
- Use appropriate IT systems and maintain professional and timely records.
- Adhere to Riverside's safeguarding policies and procedures in every aspect of service delivery.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience of working with vulnerable and/or older people.
- Flexible and responsive attitude.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support.
