About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Floating Retirement Living Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our housing management team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive housing management service for our Retirement Living schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an initial point of contact for customers, providing a professional and supportive approach.
  • Assist in the day-to-day delivery of housing management services, including working with tenancy agreements and maintaining records.
  • Report repairs and maintenance needs on behalf of customers, following agreed procedures.
  • Monitor and deliver service contracts at the scheme, including lifts, heating, fire equipment, and gardening.
  • Work in line with health and safety standards, monitoring and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Promote and encourage customer involvement, consultation, and communication.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Use appropriate IT systems and maintain professional and timely records.
  • Adhere to Riverside's safeguarding policies and procedures in every aspect of service delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable and/or older people.
  • Flexible and responsive attitude.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support.
