Football & Multi Sport Coach - Leisure Team Member

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Football & Multi Sport Coach to join our Leisure team at Enable. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality physical activity sessions for various age groups in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and fun physical activity sessions to young people in Wandsworth, promoting participation and improvement of playing standards and sportsmanship.
- Embed yourself in schools to deliver Key Stage 1 and 2 PE to a high standard, ensuring compliance with the National Curriculum and Enable's policies.
- Plan, prepare, and evaluate coaching sessions regularly, identifying and adopting effective teaching approaches for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Provide regular communication to the Sports and Physical Activity Officer regarding session attendance and progress.
- Attend and contribute to meetings/development time as required.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, maintaining safe working practices for all staff, public, and contractors in the working environment, in accordance with Enable's safety arrangements, policies, and codes.
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable to ensure all sessions are delivered as scheduled and on time.
- Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to engage participants and tailor sessions according to their needs.
- Able to regularly travel within the Borough, preferably using a sustainable method of transport.
- Available for evening and weekend work when required, subject to seasonal variations.
- Keen to contribute to and participate in regular continuous professional development to meet the demands of the role.
- Where required, complete any other duties needed to support the Sport and Physical Activity Team, including contacting schools and other organizations to establish new sessions.
