About the Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's nominated key accounts across the retail channel, as well as driving sustainable and profitable sales aligned to group strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility of nominated accounts across the retail channel to deliver budgeted net margin, volume, and turnover across each category.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts, leveraging partnerships to drive forward retail strategy and category plans.
  • Support on commercial projects and implement process improvements within the team remit.
  • Manage and develop strong cross-functional relationships within Dale Farm to ensure optimum service levels to the customer.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly production forecasting by customer / SKU to manage stock availability.
  • Annual budget setting by volume and price across all customers at SKU level, as well as conducting ongoing regular reviews as required by the business.
About You

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with minimum 2 years account management experience, and who can demonstrate successfully delivering within that role.

We are looking for a candidate that is effective at managing customer relationships and has experience within the food & beverages market.

The candidate will have honed excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of developing close working relationships with customers and colleagues.

They will be able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly as and when challenges arise to find solutions and deliver against objectives.

Candidates should possess a sound knowledge and competency in IT to include advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
