The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Supply Chain Assistant to join our team at UCC Coffee. As a key member of our warehouse and logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, including despatch planning, stock control, and operational control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to ensure all facets of the warehouse and logistics team are in place and adhered to.
  • Ensure no past due customer orders by reviewing regularly with the demand planner and reacting quickly to action messages.
  • Analyse stockholding to ensure stock value for internal KPIs is maintained.
  • Coordinate the sales order process and dispatch of orders, liaising with the warehouse team.
  • Provide first-line contact to all third-party logistics providers, coordinating the movement and storage of stock and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Advise on shortages and deal with operations issues of refusals of delivery, damages, and late arrivals.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and tasks as and when required.

The Person:

We are looking for a self-starter with supply chain/logistics experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or foodservice. You should be able to motivate, plan, prioritize, and execute methodically, with excellent communication and organization skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders is essential.

What We Offer:

Up to £26,000 per annum, plus days holiday, pension, EAP, life assurance, and other company benefits.
