Position Overview

Team Collaboration

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of 110 professionals from Stantec, spread across multiple UK offices and a team in Pune. Collaborating with clients and consultant/contractor partners, you will contribute to delivering projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This role presents a unique chance to be part of an ambitious and forward-thinking team of engineers, focusing on a specialized modelling framework while contributing to industry-leading initiatives. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Candidate Profile

To qualify for this role, you should possess a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field, and ideally be a member of a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIWEM. Successful candidates will exhibit technical expertise across a broad spectrum of urban drainage modelling tasks and demonstrate proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and other pertinent modelling and GIS tools.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with proposals and preparing cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve participating in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance, and adherence to best practices.

Communication Skills

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication abilities, demonstrated through report writing, developing and delivering presentations, and fostering industry connections. You should be able to integrate seamlessly into a team, collaborating closely with other modelling professionals in an urban drainage context, all while maintaining a strong client service focus.
