About the Role

Rapid7 is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer II to join our Model R&D team in Belfast. As a key member of our AI Centre of Excellence, you will design and implement AI models that drive customer value and accelerate threat investigation, detection, and response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop AI/ML/data science models to deliver customer value and drive business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, customer research, and product management, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Take ownership of the quality of your work and contribute to the growth and development of your peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML/data science and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of AI/ML/data science with applied experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries, such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Huggingface.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS and GPU compute.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Passion for continuous learning and self-development, with a bias for action and a willingness to take calculated risks.
