Job Title: DevOps Engineering Lead

As a DevOps Engineering Lead at BT Group, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the development environment, ensuring all hosts, modules, certificates, and tools are up-to-date. You will also monitor the status of the development environments, automate repetitive tasks, and install and upgrade development environment technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and ELK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the development environment
  • Monitor the status of the development environments

  • Manage the Repository (GitLab) and the CI/CD pipelines
  • Advise team on platform/infrastructure/Dev Ops best practices
  • Lead on complex technical deliverables
  • Monitor and resolve vulnerabilities across the platform
  • Develop and implement operational processes and policies
  • Provide technology coaching and mentoring
