About the Role

We are seeking a Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at The Grove. As a key member of our catering team, you will work under the direction of the Cook to prepare and serve delicious home-cooked meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the chef with food preparation and independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for the dishwasher, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors, clear tea trolleys, and empty kitchen rubbish.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.

What We Offer

We provide full training, including our leadership programme, which can support your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw. You will also receive a competitive hourly rate of £12.00.

Working Hours and Shifts

We offer a 0-hour contract with variable shift times, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
