Cloud Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead strategic governance, planning, and documentation initiatives within our client's cloud infrastructure. This role will be primarily focused on Microsoft Azure, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform knowledge being highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to be onsite in Sheffield, UK for 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and infrastructure documentation.
  • Lead the planning and execution of cloud infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Provide expertise in Azure technologies, including Landing Zones, Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policies/Guard Rails, and FinOps.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation processes and procedures is essential.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven expertise in governance frameworks, risk management, and infrastructure documentation.
  • Experience working with key Azure technologies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation processes and procedures.
What We Offer:
  • Initial 6-month contract with extension available.
  • Up to £585 per day (Inside IR35).
