Emergency Medicine Consultant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our urgent and emergency care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Emergency Medicine, working collaboratively with other clinical colleagues to further reform the urgent and emergency care pathway.
- Participate in clinical audit and governance, implementing audit and research findings across the department.
- Support the professional supervision, management, and teaching of staff within the Emergency Department.
- Attend internal and external stakeholder meetings as required.
Person Specification
- Full GMC registration
- CCST/CCT in Emergency Medicine
- General training in Emergency Medicine to specialist level or equivalent
- Awareness of Clinical Governance and commitment to high-quality service delivery
- Sufficient leadership and organisational skills
- Effective communication, professional, and personal skills
