Position: Lead Project Management Specialist

Compensation:
Up to £80,000 plus a 6% annual bonus and a £1,000 DV bonus

Security Clearance: DV security clearance is mandatory for this position.


We are seeking a seasoned Project Management Specialist for a prestigious client, a leading engineering and technology firm known for its exceptional delivery capabilities across research & development, product innovation, managed services, and consultancy, catering to a global clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure contracts are executed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Professionally engage with and manage external clients, subcontractors, partners, and internal business functions, balancing stakeholder needs with business objectives.
• Foster and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships that add value for both clients and the organization.
• Identify, prioritize, and effectively manage risks and issues related to proposals and project delivery, ensuring that schedule, cost, and quality considerations are thoroughly addressed.
• Provide accurate reporting and forecasting against key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Build and lead project teams to success.
• Deliver bids and contracts in alignment with target schedules, costs, and quality benchmarks, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to governing contracts.
• Actively manage risks and issues throughout the bidding and contract lifecycle, providing timely and precise project updates to both internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

Project Management Standards:
• Ensure all project documentation (both deliverable and non-deliverable) is meticulously controlled and produced to high standards, including plans, estimates, specifications, architectural and design documents, software, test plans and results, manufacturing data, etc.

Qualifications:
• Candidates should possess appropriate Project Management certifications (e.g., SAFe/Agile qualifications).
• Project Managers are expected to hold APM PMQ qualifications or equivalent, or be actively pursuing such qualifications.
• Proven experience in delivering IT projects utilizing agile methodologies and principles.
• Familiarity with Scrum practices is essential.
