About the Role

Hiring People is seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team. As a Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient processes for smooth project execution
  • Collaborate with the workshop manager to manage fabrication and installation aspects of projects
  • Prepare quotes for installation works
  • Build and manage a team of subcontractors and in-house trades
  • Provide regular project updates to the project manager/project coordinator
  • Lead a team of trades on site
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Organize site labor
  • Communicate with clients

Requirements

  • Experience working with or closely with a managing director
  • Ability to apply established management principles to deliver multiple projects
  • Familiarity with project management software and online systems
  • Strong understanding of the steelwork industry
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Outgoing personality with ambition
  • Willingness to be flexible and 'hands-on' when required
  • Ability to measure and survey jobs
